Nikon is Discontinuing Almost all non-Digital Production

Today Nikon announced it’s discontinuing almost all non-digital equipment, including film SLRs, most large/medium format equipment, most manual lenses, and related accessories.

    There are going to be some _very_ unhappy railfan photographers out there; the photography columnist for The Railroad Press has just come off a multi-month bashfest against digital, and I’d bet he’s going to be quite displeased to have his cameramaker dump analogue altogether.
