On Sunday’s trek around the Vancouver area I happened to be at the right place at the right time for a photo location I had passed many times but had never tried. This eastbound manifest is lead by two CSX Dash 9s is pulling quite the collection of excavators and side boom cats, all of it dirty.
The location is approximately half way between Eavan and the Wintler Rd. crossing east of Vancouver. In the background is Vancouver’s ‘skyline’ including the ever present Smith Tower. The silver truss structure is BNSF’s Columbia River draw bridge.
