I know the building well. A few residents actually asked if the city (yeah, the city) would "relocate" the tracks so they wouldn't have to hear the noise. The City simply stated, "we don't own those tracks, you'll have to talk to BNSF". To which there was utter confusion from my understanding. In addition, the building, albeit beautiful, wasn't built with the appropriate "train noise reduction" items that the other surrounding condos were. :) ...oh the negligent and uninformed home owner! :p I am still amazed at how many people move next to tracks thinking that nothing extra or that nothing runs on the tracks. Only to find out at 5:00am or some hour that a train comes roaring through. People should really think about these things. ...anyway, I digress, absolutely stunning shot!
